Tony Park

Tony Park is a business icon in Tasmania. He owns several businesses, including a vineyard, a printing company and a travel agency. He is currently the Vice President of the Council of Asian Chambers of Commerce based in Tiawan. He was a director of the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was appointed to the board of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in March 2007. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Management. He is a former World Vice-President of the Junior Chamber International and National President of Jaycees Australia. He was a director of the Tourism Council of Tasmania and of the Asia Pacific Senate for the Junior Chamber International. His community work supports medical research, charities and sports associations and, for 40 years, he has helped to raise leaders among youth through the Scout Association.

Homes being produced in the Cambridge factory

New factory

In early December 2005, Park Homes opened a new $1.5 million factory in Cambridge, where they can now build a complete home in just one day, if necessary.

Since then the site, which incorporates the company’s sales office and a developing display village, has continued to grow to keep pace with increasing demand. The factory floor is now over 30,000 squ feet allowing 12 homes to be worked on at any one time.
